12K pre breakfast run

Pre-breakfast run whilst wife and child were still sleeping.

Really enjoyable run, felt effortless right until the end, which I hoped would never come. Pulled in a new PB for 10km of 51:45.

I went out hoping to do 10km or an hour or so at reasonable pace.

Didn’t really know where I was going, so had to double back a couple of times as I hit dead ends.

By the time I hit the Grace Way, Martins Ways underpass, I think I had run about 7km and felt like doing more even though it was raining and cold (three layers required today!).

I was listening to the IMTalk podcast, so quite happy running alone, just kept plodding along, added extra sections until I started to feel guilty about leaving Lindsey on a Sunday morning to get Alex up.

Definitely a route I would do again, even adding a bit more to pull it up to 8-10 miles.
